Providing Managers with Education, Tools and Training to solve today's problems and prepare for tomorrows challenges.
Introduction to Controllership
This 1 day workshop is based on the "Controllers Handbook" published by CCH Canada and authored by Nick Shepherd, FCMC, FCCA, CGA. (See links for purchasing this book from CCH Canadian)
The workshop provides an overview of the role and focuses on key issues such as effective time management and clarification of roles, responsibility and accountability. Many Controllers have the technical skills to become a Controller but are poorly prepared for the breadth of responsibility and accountability.
This workshop helps prepare candidates for their role by using the well known and proven P-D-C-A (Plan, Do, Check and Act) approach to identifying responsibilities and managing their tasks. Download the summary course outline shown below and contact your local CGA Association for their next offering. For additional information on availability please contact us directly.
